The ks-project.gr website collects and uses personal information for the following reasons:

2.1 Tracking Website Visits
Like most websites, this website uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction. We use this data to determine the number of people using our website, to better understand how they find and use our websites, and to see their journey through the website. Although GA records data such as your geographic location, device, web browser and operating system, none of this information personally identifies you. GAs also record your computer’s IP address, which could be used to personally identify you, but Google does not give us access to this. We consider Google to be a third-party data processor.

GA uses cookies, details of which can be found in Google’s developer guides. Our website uses GA’s analytics.js application.

Disabling cookies in your web browser will prevent GA from tracking any part of your visit to pages on this website.

2.2 Contact Forms
In the event that you choose to contact us using the contact form on the Contact Us page or an email link like this, none of the data you provide will be stored by this website or transferred / processed by any processor third party data as defined in section 5.0. Instead, the data will be sorted into an email message and sent to us via Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). SMTP servers are protected by TLS (sometimes known as SSL), which means that email content is encrypted using SHA-2, 256-bit encryption before it is sent over the internet. Email content is decrypted by local computers and devices.

2.3 Email newsletter
If you choose to join our email newsletter, the email address you submit to us will be forwarded to MailChimp who provide us with email marketing services. We consider MailChimp to be a third-party data processor. The email address you submit will not be stored in the website’s own database or in any of our internal computer systems.

Your email address will remain in MailChimp’s database as long as we continue to use MailChimp’s services for email marketing or until you explicitly request to be removed from the list. You can do this by opting out of using the unsubscribe links contained in any email newsletters we send you, or by requesting opt-out via email. When requesting removal by email, please send us your email using the email account registered to the mailing list.

If you are under 16, you MUST obtain parental consent before signing up to our email newsletter.

While your email address remains in MailChimp’s database, you will receive periodic informational emails from us.

3. HOW WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA:
