Business office space design in Athens

Research, Design and Construction

The KS Project

Welcome to the office of The KS Project architectural team in the heart of Athens. The office’s design philosophy reflects our own architectural approach, which incorporates elements of innovation combined with respect for tradition, through the lens of the present and the future.

Our space’s primary structural element is the “bank”: a large table around which our team works – an area where ideas converge and creativity emerges through the communication and collaboration of all members.

Within that same area, following alternative design patterns of a professional environment, terraced platforms have been constructed functioning as a place of relaxation and concentration, creating a fertile ground for the development of our less formal meetings, with the aim of free communication and the fostering of new ideas, away from the veil of conformist labor.

The small corners of our central workspace are enriched with artwork: the staircase-sculpture, the impressive art installation element at the entrance, even the empty wall decorated with neon lights giving a new subversive touch to the environment, are elements that we allow to freely shape the space around us, a space that changes and transforms with us and according to our needs.

Our workspace is functionally completed with the guest room. It features a secluded and quiet area that perfectly complements the needs of our office. There, the visitor has the opportunity to feel at ease, freely communicate their personal preferences, ambitions and design needs, but also be informed about the progress of their project within a trusting and creatively cooperative environment.

The aesthetic tone of the office that houses our architectural team reflects both the past and the future, as does the architectural approach we adopt in our projects. Its industrial character interprets and preserves the memory of the former function of the area, that of the workshop. The exposed pipes, the concrete appearance of the grouted concrete coating the area, the metallic elements of the equipment in lights and furniture, the industrial materials, such as the PVC strip curtain that constitutes the trademark of our space, perfectly balance between yesterday and today.

Moreover, the earthy look and feel of the pressed cement mortar combined with the plants placed along the work area create a biofriendly style. In doing so, aesthetic, innovation and tradition come together to create a working environment that is friendly to employees and indicative of the people serving art through architecture.
